So, for anyone who doesn't understand what Oharu's role as a "yorishiro" is that her corpse was basically being used to attract spiritual energy to fuel the 5 Grains because Mahiruma was no longer a god of the village. She's basically the same as the Tree of Ages, housing spirit energy or an actual spirit. (Correct me, if my understanding is wrong.)

So, it's spooky thought that the old dude might have poisoned and killed his daughter to keep the 5 Grains working when they started failing in Mahiruma's absence, five years later. Human greed can be very terrifying, indeed.

So Mayonaka is just being impatient and left w/out Oharu but Oharu is really in loved and loyal to him. It's a misunderstanding all along.
We got a Japanese Hercules in this series.

It wasn't just the misunderstanding, her father stole the divine treasure from her, and wouldn't allow her to return it. Without him, this tragedy never happens. And even once he knew it was the same god attacking the village, he still didn't return the treasure or even try to explain what he'd done. Possibly he was ashamed, or genuinely didn't realize how royally he'd screwed his own village. A misunderstanding could have been worked out if everyone wanted that, but the criminal element is what prevented that.

This episode was so Inuyasha that it was amazing, finally some good quality content! This has to be probably one of the best episodes to date of the second season, Mayonaka's story was really well done and I'm glad it had a well deserved happy ending.

Also, I was worried that Moroha's current mission was your usual clown fiesta but it seems next episode will be hopefully on fire, specially because both Towa and Setsuna will be humans, can't wait!

HAHA ! u know what my teacher always told me ? she was'nt an art teacher but she said that u don't have to be talented in arts . And she was right some people use their imagination and try hard to make people understand like i draw the things or people or sceneries i see in my dreams and i also convert my dreams into a story and it's fun even though people laugh and tell me that art has no future and i say that' art is everything u know the cloths u wear are designed , the house u live in , the furniture , etc

She is right of course, the thing is I did try 5 times and each time I was rejected, can't really attend a university if they reject my portfolio or if I don't pass the entrance exam, thank god I have my course :)
